09 July 2024 – DLA Piper’s Bucharest office team assisted Believe, one of the world’s leading digital music companies, in forming a strategic partnership with Global Records, Central and Eastern Europe’s top independent dance music company. As part of this landmark agreement, Believe will acquire a 25% stake in Global Records, pending customary regulatory approvals.
DLA Piper's Bucharest office team, led by country managing partner Marian Dinu, with the close support of counsel Bogdan Buta, provided comprehensive legal assistance throughout the acquisition. This included intellectual property support from counsel Răzvan Pele and managing associate Corina Badiceanu. Additionally, partner Alina Lăcătuș, counsel Răzvan Pele, and managing associate Cristi Porojanu are leading the team in navigating the customary regulatory formalities.
