Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok presents a captivating culinary experience this March.

Diners can discover an epicurean gastronomic journey at the Erawan Tea Room, where the rich flavours of authentic Thai cuisine await, indulge in the exquisite offerings at Salvia Italian Osteria. Additionally, GASTON, the French bistro and bar, invites guests to enjoy weekly specials and a themed monthly event, featuring exceptional food, drinks, and lively vibes.

'Spring Passion – New Beginnings' at Salvia Italian Osteria

Salvia is excited to announce the launch of its new menu, titled Spring Passion – New Beginnings, which is brimming with fresh, seasonal ingredients and offers a truly authentic taste of Italy.

Spring brings a sense of renewal and new beginnings, and Chef Gabriele Olivieri has expertly crafted a menu that reflects this uplifting spirit. Each thoughtfully curated dish celebrates the vibrant flavours of the season, featuring fresh produce such as courgette flowers, cime di rapa (broccoli rabe), Tropea onions, peas and white asparagus.

Dishes include enticing options like oven-baked courgette flowers, chargrilled calamari, egg pasta ravioli with stracciatella, risotto with blue swimmer crab, clams and mussels, as well as Japanese scallops.

To spice up the evening, guests can enjoy a bespoke cocktail aptly named Italianrita. Crafted with Tequila, Amaretto, Campari and fruit juices, this drink enhances the overall experience.

Summer Afternoon Tea at Erawan Tea Room

Erawan Tea Room invites guests to embrace the sunny vibes reminiscent of the Thai summer with its new Summer Afternoon Tea. Starting in March, guests can enjoy a relaxing afternoon break with an array of sweets and savouries, where colourful and dainty treats are a feast for both the eyes and the palate.

The menu pays homage to Thai traditions and showcases a tapestry of exotic flavours. Guests can relish the exquisite taste of freshly made Kanom Krok pancakes, perfectly crisp outside and soft inside, accompanied by a topping of tom kha chicken. Additionally, the universally popular Por Pia Goong prawn spring rolls are sure to please, along with the spicy pork salad Larb Moo Tord.

For those with a sweet tooth, there is an assortment of unique creations that are not only visually appealing but also delicious. Highlights include the delicate Woon Kati coconut jelly and the toddy palm compote in pastel blue butterfly pea syrup. Not to be missed is the Chor Phaka Krong, a delicacy filled with velvety mung bean paste artfully shaped into beautiful dahlias.

Complimentary with each tea set, a handcrafted Thai wooden fan - a beautiful keepsake to keep you cool while adding authentic charm to your summer experience.

Seafood Promotion at Erawan Tea Room

For guests who love fish and shellfish, Erawan Tea Room's current promotion is a must-try, featuring a variety of Thai-style cooking with local and sustainable produce. Each dish is prepared fresh and features bold flavours from ingredients such as fiery chillies, aromatic galangal, ginger and fragrant lime leaves, along with its signature house-made chilli paste.

Guests can look forward to a selection of the freshest seafood, presented as à la carte sharing dishes. The irresistible deep-fried tiger prawns are infused with garlic and pepper, simple with just a few ingredients but bursting with intensity. A must-try is the spicy mixed seafood salad and the stir-fried pomfret complemented by fragrant fingerroot. The fried whole sea crab with black pepper is highly recommended, with the sweetness of the meat offering a complex depth of spicy-savoury flavour. Finally, the fiery Nam Prik Khai Poo is not to be missed, a sumptuous crab roe paste that packs a flavourful punch and will leave taste buds craving for more.
