Exciting news: The construction of the new Airbus A220 delivery centre is completed. The centre is located at the heart of the main Airbus Canadian site in Mirabel, Quebec. The hangar will accommodate two aircraft, an office area, an outdoor positioning area for two aircraft and outdoor parking.
Airbus Helicopters recently delivered Hydro One's 7th Airbus H125 in 6 years. Hydro One is Ontario’s largest electricity transmission and distribution service provider. They operate one of the most advanced utility helicopter fleets in Canada, with an all Airbus aircraft fleet.
Bosch hosted Ontario’s Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, Victor Fedeli, at their booth during CES in Las Vegas, one of the most important tech events in the world. Bosch showcased cutting edge-technologies. Fedeli also spoke to the company's managers about how innovation continues to drive economic growth in the region.
Volkswagen and PowerCo have closed their first mining deal. Going forward, VW is a 9.9% owner of Patriot Battery Metals Inc. and PowerCo will act as off-taker for sustainable lithium. Patriot Battery Metals is based in Vancouver and currently develops the Shaakichiuwaanaan Project in Quebec – one of the largest lithium resources in the Americas.
