Rich Text Editor (RTE) - Headlines

In the Rich Text Editor you have the possibility to format text. An important element is the use of headings. Here you will find an overview.

Which heading always comes first?

H1 always appears as the first heading on a page. This is set in the page features. Please also use the "Introtext for Subpages" field there.

Apart from that, there are also these headings:

Section Heading(H2)

Main heading (H3)

Sub-Heading (H4)

Section-Heading (H2, red)

Main heading (H2, red)

About the use: H1 comes first, then H2 in differently coloured "Sections". H3 and H4 can be used in the case of text or in the right-hand column. Only use the red format in exceptional cases. Watch out for the right balance! Imagine the website as being like a newspaper: each section needs a heading – otherwise, you don’t know what it’s about.
