Each photo is protected by copyright. Do not simply copy images and photos from the Internet. Also do not publish the images.

Only purchase images from legitimate websites and image databases

If you acquire rights of use of image databases, you must be able to rely on the operators having also actually asked the photographers of the images for permission. If this is not the case, the photographer can admonish you on the basis of the image rights.

Comply with the correct rights of use

When you have acquired image rights for print only, you may not use the photo on Facebook.

"Royalty-free” does not mean "copyright-free"

In the case of royalty-free images the photographer can establish specific rules for the use of his images.

Comply with stating the photographer’s name

Each photographer has the right to be named as the originator. Important: the photographer, not the platform or photo agency!
