Create news

Create news

Here you create your news, which are already finally configured by CPS-IT. In the first step you change the view to List. Then select the "Pool contents" folder, where there is another folder called "News". Then you can create your new news.

General I

In the General tab you have several options (see screenshot).

If you check the "Top News" box, the message will appear as a top message above your list view. Each top message must have an image. In the next accordion you can see the top message view in the frontend.

Top News in the frontend

Here you can see your top news [2.] in the frontend. The other news are displayed below the top news [1.].

Furthermore, you can enter the text of your news in the "Rich Text Editor".

Access

Here you have the possibility to enter a publication date as well as an expiration date.

Relations

Im Tab "Relationen" laden Sie Ihre Bilder über den Button "Admiral Cloud" hoch, die sich der Admiral Cloud befinden. Achten Sie bitte darauf, dass Sie die Copyright-Angaben nicht vergessen. » mehr 

Außerdem können Sie noch "Verwandte Links" eintragen, die im Frontend in der rechten Spalte erscheinen. 

Kategorie

Here you can select a category for the news.

News ticker on the home page

You can display your news on the home page in a continuous ticker. You can learn how to set this up here:

Plug-In "Settings"

Plug-In "Settings II"

  • Please also include your news folder

Plug-In "Settings III" - Categories

  • In the plug-in on the "Settings" tab you can define the news categories.
  • Please use the following screenshot as a guide for your settings
  • The frontend will only display news that you specify. So only those that have received a check mark.

Plug-In "More settings"

  • Here you also make the specified settings
  • For the news ticker on the home page, you do not need a page ID for "Back link".

Plug-In "Template layout"

  • Here you can set up your ticker by selecting "Home: Ticker" in the layout.
  • Below you can see the finished news ticker, which will then appear on your home page
